User Research
Our main focus is and will always be users themselves. We identify and learn in-depth our target audience, understand what their motivations are and how they are going to behave in the future. User research is an indispensable tool for building an attractive and a useful product that matters to people.
GOOD DESIGNERS UNDERSTAND TOOLS
GOOD UX DESIGNERS UNDERSTAND PEOPLE
There are plenty of classic methods to do so, and here are the ones we use:
Personas
User persona is a collective image of key user segment who share similar behavioural features. To “feel” the interface as someone who’s going to use it we create up to 3 fictional characters. All decisions on a project will be viewed through the personas’ eyes.
Scenarios
We think about user scenario as if it was a script for a film consisting of all possible scenes. User scenario describes every step user makes to achieve it’s goal in the given context. For our development and design teams it’s a great tool to understand what flows and objects are required to accomplish a user task.
More importantly, with use cases and scenarios reveal the appropriateness of every detail and help to get rid of unnesessary ones, so we can focus on development of the most important features.
Online user surveys
We use surveys in 2 cases: to get feedback from a large amount of users for a limited period of time and to clarify user portrait. Surveys are being spread through emails, social media and through our inner channels.
Data collection
from existing research
The majority of businesses already have plenty of useful data, but they just don’t have enough time and resources to analyse it. Our experts will carefully do it for you.
All mentioned above methods helps us define the target audience, understand how they feel about an interface and its’ features and realise how our product may solve users’ problems. If the interface is user-friendly and easy-to-use, a person will use it again and again, becoming your regular customer.
